The Psychics

In Seasons One, Two and Three, the Rescue Mediums comprised Jackie Dennison and Christine Hamlett. Seasons Four and Five Jackie teamed up with another renowned psychic medium, Alison Wynne-Ryder.

All three hail from the United Kingdom and have been in the paranormal area for some time. All three are gifted with incredible psychic abilities yet are very down-to-earth.

They tackle each task with sincerity and humour and at the end of a haunting, make no bones about wanting to have a few of the “other” kind of spirit!!!

The Producers

Michael Lamport is the producer and narrator of Rescue Mediums which has enjoyed three seasons around the world and has launched Season Four in the Fall of 2009. He has also produced the one-hour pilot entitled In Your Wildest Dreams for Discovery USA and the series Curious and Unusual Deaths for Discovery Canada and the Crime and Investigation channel in the UK. Michael was also the producer and host of the travel series Suite & Simple that airs on networks in Canada and the USA.  His documentary film Offstage, which followed the trials and tribulations of the residents of a small town as they put on a Xmas stage production, won a GOLD HUGO at the 2004 Chicago International Television Festival and was nominated for Best Documentary and Best Editing at the Yorkton Film Festival, as well as an Honourable Mention at the Chris Awards.   He has also executive produced the A&E documentary The Disciples and produced the film The Right To Play for CBC.  He was also a script consultant and directing consultant for the highly successful MOCDOCS series on CBC.  In addition to producing and directing, he is  the voice of Life's A Zoo.TV, The Wombles, Bob & Margaret, Ace Lightning, Upstairs Downstairs Bears and Maggie and the Ferocious Beast.  His acting credits include guest-starring in many stage productions and television series and starring in the eight-hour miniseries The Adventures of Smoke Belliou which aired in Canada, the USA and France.

Gregory Sheppard is the producer and director of  Rescue Mediums (3 seasons, airing around the world  including Canada, USA and UK and season 4 launched in the Fall of 2009),  He has also produced and directed In Your Wildest Dreams ( a pilot for Discovery  USA), executive produced Curious and Unusual Deaths for Discovery Canada and the Crime and Investigation channel in the UK and Suite & Simple, a travel show for  CTV and Fine Living.  He  also executive produced  Real Renos, a critically-acclaimed television series on HGTV .He also directed and produced a one-hour TV pilot The Collectors about the world of classic cars and directed All the Wild Horses for Global TV. He has executive produced several other specials and documentaries. In addition to the three hundred plus commercials he has directed for The Partners Film Company, he produced and directed the award-winning short film Paris Crew and the period piece The Privateer. He also directed over 20 of the critically acclaimed Heritage Minutes for television. Gregory is also developing several feature films including St. Roz, a comedy about weight-loss and miracles, which is scheduled for production later this year. Gregory has won silver and bronze lions in Cannes, a Gold Hugo  and in festivals throughout the US and Canada for his producing and directorial skills on television.      

Most recently, they have completed filming a new theatrical comedy St. Roz (about a religious statue that has unusual powers – if you light a candle to it, you lose a pound!  Sends the weight-loss industry into chaos!)
